Lauritzen Award
The Lauritzen Award ( da, Lauritzen-prisen) is a Danish film award which is handed every year to a female and a male Danish actor once a year by the Lauritzen Fonden. The prize is currently 250,000 DDK to each recipient since 2010. The prize was established in 1965 as the Henkel-prisen (Henkel Award), which was given to a female actor from 1965 to 1995. From 1965 to 2000 the Lauritzen Award / the Henkel Award was 50,000 DDK, from 2001 to 2009 the prize was 150,000 DDK. Thure Lindhardt
Thure Frank Lindhardt (; born 24 December 1974) is a Danish actor, educated at the drama school at Odense Theatre in 1998. Life and career Lindhardt was born in Copenhagen, and grew up in Roskilde. At the age of 12, he got a part in Bille August's film ''Pelle the Conqueror''. His breakthrough in Denmark came with his portrayal of a boy with autism in ''A Place Nearby'', co-starring with Ghita Nørby. Bodil Jørgensen (born 3 March 1961) is a Danish film actress. She has appeared in 40 films since 1992. She starred in ''The Idiots'', which was entered into the 1998 Cannes Film Festival. On 18 June 2014, Jørgensen was severely injured while shooting for the film ''Far til fires vilde ferie'' on the island of Mandø. She fell off a tractor she was riding in the scene being filmed, and was crushed by it. Severe injuries to her ribs, pelvis and internal organs ensued, but she survived the accident.
