Larkspur, Colorado
Larkspur is a home rule municipality in Douglas County, Colorado, United States. The town population was 183 at the 2010 census, down from 234 at the 2000 census. Each year, on weekends in June and July, the Colorado Renaissance Festival is held in the hills just west of the town. The town is served by Larkspur Elementary School, a K-6 school in the Douglas County school district. A post office called Larkspur has been in operation since 1871. The community was named for the abundance of larkspur near the original town site. U.S. Highway 87 (US 87) is a north–south United States highway (though it is signed east–west in New Mexico) that runs for 1,998 miles (3,215 km) from northern Montana to southern Texas, making it the longest north-south road to not have a "1" in its number and the third longest north-south road in the country, behind U.S. Route 41, U.S. 41 and U.S. Route 1, U.S. 1. Castle Rock is a home rule town that is the county seat and the most populous municipality of Douglas County, Colorado, United States. The town population was 73,158 at the 2020 United States Census, a 51.68% increase since the 2010 United States Census. ''Delphinium'' is a genus of about 300 species of annual and perennial flowering plants in the family Ranunculaceae, native throughout the Northern Hemisphere and also on the high mountains of tropical Africa.
