Víctor Larco Herrera Avenue ( es, Avenida Víctor Larco Herrera) is one of the main avenues of Trujillo city, located on the north coast of Peru. Named after the famous philanthropist Victor Larco Herrera by this via urbanistically joins Trujillo and Víctor Larco districts. It is the main via of Victor Larco and one of the most important in Trujillo. Trujillo (; qu, Truhillu) is a city in coastal northwestern Peru and the capital of the Department of La Libertad. It is the third most populous city and center of the List of metropolitan areas of Peru, third most populous metropolitan area of Peru. España Avenue (Trujillo)
España Avenue is one of the main vias in the Peruvian city of Trujillo located on the north coast of Peru. This avenue was built in an elliptical shape in the footsteps of the ancient wall of Trujillo and it surrounds the Historic Centre of Trujillo. This avenue hosts shopping centers and several companies. The Historic Centre of Trujillo is the main urban area and the most important center of development and unfolding in the Peruvian city of Trujillo located in La Libertad Region. Victor Larco Herrera
Victor Larco Herrera (1870 in Trujillo, Peru – May 10, 1939 in Santiago de Chile) was a prominent politician, farmer and philanthropist from Peru. He devoted much of his life to social and cultural affairs. Since 1945, the Victor Larco Herrera District was named after the trujillan philanthropist who with their property supported the first residents of the district. Larco Herrera was also mayor of Trujillo. Biography He was elected senator for the La Libertad Region in 1904, and then successively re-elected until 1919. In 1913, he was elected mayor of Trujillo, to the city gave the building now occupied the Municipality of Trujillo. Trujillo Marinera Festival
Trujillo Marinera Festival is a Peruvian cultural event held annually in Trujillo city in January. The event focuses on a dance contest called the marinera, a typical dance of the city and of the country. The festival also presents parades, presentations and competitions of Peruvian paso horses. Both the marinera dance and the Peruvian paso horse have been declared to be part of the ''cultural heritage of the nation'' by the Peruvian government.
