Lammi ( sv, Lammi, also ) is a former municipality of Finland. It was consolidated with Hämeenlinna on 2009-01-01. It is located in the province of Southern Finland and is part of the Tavastia Proper region. The municipality had a population of 5,507 (2008) and covered an area of 611.24 km² of which 73.69 km² is water. The population density is 11 inhabitants per km². Neighbouring municipalities were Asikkala, Hauho, Hausjärvi, Hämeenkoski, Janakkala, Kärkölä, Luopioinen, Padasjoki and Tuulos. The municipality was unilingually Finnish. Evo, Hämeenlinna
Evo is a village located along the main road 53 in the former municipality of Lammi, now part of the city of Hämeenlinna in the region of Tavastia Proper, Finland. It has a lot of tourism and recreational activities related to the nearby forest nature. The local camping area was established in 1994, and it extends to the area of Lammi and Padasjoki. Hausjärvi is a municipality of Finland. Its seat is in Oitti. It is located in the province of Southern Finland and is part of the Tavastia Proper region. The municipality has a population of () and covers an area of of which is water. The population density is . Geographically, and to some extent politically, Hausjärvi is characterized by its three population centres, Hikiä (population 1,055), Oitti (population 1,855) and Ryttylä (population 1,595). Southern Finland
Southern Finland ( fi, Etelä-Suomen lääni, sv, Södra Finlands län) was a province of Finland from 1997 to 2009. It bordered the provinces of Western Finland and Eastern Finland. It also bordered the Gulf of Finland and Russia. History On September 1, 1997 the Uusimaa Province, the Kymi Province and the southern parts of the Häme Province were joined to form the new Southern Finland Province. All the provinces of Finland were abolished on January 1, 2010. Administration The State Provincial Office was a joint regional authority of seven different ministries. It promoted national and regional objectives of the State central administration. The State Provincial Office of Southern Finland employed about 380 persons.
