Lü Yi (badminton)
Lü Yi ( zh, s=吕轶, p=; born 30 April 1985) is a badminton player from the People's Republic of China. He entered the national second team in 2002, and was promoted to the first team in 2006. He was part of the national junior team that won the gold medal at the 2002 World Junior Championships. In the individual events, he was the champions at the 2007 Austrian International, Bitburger Open, and Russian Open. Lü graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree at the Beijing Capital Normal University in 2007, and now works as a teacher in University of International Business and Economics. Lü (surname)
Lü () is the pinyin (Lǚ with the Tone (linguistics), tone diacritic) and Wade–Giles romanisation of a Chinese surname, most commonly (Simplified Chinese characters, simplified Chinese) and (Traditional Chinese characters, traditional Chinese). Romanization Lü is the standard pinyin spelling of the Chinese character 吕/呂. However, when input of the Umlaut (diacritic), umlaut is not possible, the surname is commonly romanized as Lu or Lv (v being the pinyin input shorthand for ü). Andre Kurniawan Tedjono (born 7 December 1986) is an Indonesian badminton player who specializes in singles. Tedjono joined the PB Djarum club in 1998. Career While still in his teens Tedjono won the Indonesian (closed) national men's singles title in 2003 and 2005. His best international results thus far are victories in the 2007 New Zealand Open and the 2008 Dutch Open. 2008 Tedjono won the Indonesia International. Lee Tsuen Seng (born 26 April 1979) is a former badminton player from Malaysia. He was part of the Malaysian team that won silver in the 2002 Thomas & Uber Cup. The Badminton World Federation, aka BWF, is the international governing body for the sport of badminton approved by the International Olympic Committee. It was founded on 5 July 1934 as the International Badminton Federation with nine member nations: Canada, Denmark, England, France, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Scotland and Wales.
