López Sicardó (Oriente)
López Sicardó is one of the three sectors in the Oriente barrio of Puerto Rico. López Sicardó is a subbarrio classified as a civil geographic unit within the San Juan Municipio of Puerto Rico. According to the U.S. Census Bureau’s Geography Division, it is officially recognized with the Feature ID 2415600. The subbarrio is located at coordinates approximately 18°24'14.81" N latitude and 66°2'2.26" W longitude, with an elevation of about 26 meters (85 feet) above sea level. Oriente is one of the 18 barrios of the municipality of San Juan, Puerto Rico. It is composed of 3 subbarrios: Borinquen, López Sicardó, and San José. Before 1951, it was a barrio of the former municipality of Rio Piedras. In 2010, it had a population of 31,374. A borough is an administrative division in various English language, English-speaking countries. Miguel Alberto Romero Lugo (born February 17, 1970) is a Puerto Rican lawyer, who is the current Mayor of San Juan. He was also Secretary of Labor and Human Resources of Puerto Rico (2009–2012) and former Chief of Staff of Puerto Rico during Governor Luis Fortuño's administration (2012–2013) and senator for the San Juan District (2017–2020).
