Lê Phước Tứ
Lê Phước Tứ (born 15 April 1984) is a Vietnamese football manager and former footballer. He is currently the technical director of V.League 1 side Phù Đổng Ninh Bình. He was a regular member of the Vietnam national football team from 2008 to 2014, being a member of the 2008 AFF Championship winning team. On 12 November 2014, he announced his retirement from international football after the 2014 AFF Championship semi-final loss to Malaysia. 2014 AFF Championship
The 2014 AFF Championship, sponsored by Suzuki and officially known as the 2014 AFF Suzuki Cup, was the 10th edition of the AFF Championship, an international association football competition consisting of national teams of member nations of the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF). Co-hosting rights to the group stages were awarded to Singapore and Vietnam with matches held from 22 November to 20 December 2014. Meanwhile, Malaysia, the Philippines and Thailand also hosted knockout stage matches, as their teams advanced to the 2014 AFF Championship#Semi-finals, semi-finals with Vietnam. AFF Championship
The ASEAN Championship (formerly known as the AFF Championship or AFF Cup), currently known as the ASEAN Hyundai Cup for sponsorship reasons, is the biennial football tournament organized by the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) for men's national teams in Southeast Asia. A biennial international competition, it is contested to determine the sub-continental champion of Southeast Asia. The competition has been held every two years since 1996, scheduled to be in the even-numbered year, except for 2007, and 2020. Four national teams have won the ASEAN Championship title; Thailand has won seven titles, Singapore four, Vietnam three, and Malaysia one. The 2015 National Cup is the 23rd edition of the Vietnamese National Cup. It will be sponsored by Kienlongbank, and known as the Kienlongbank National Cup for sponsorship purposes. It began on the 4 April 2015 and will finish on 26 September 2015. Teams Teams in V.League 1 and V.League 2 can enter this cup. Vietnamese Cup
Vietnamese National Football Cup (), commonly recognized and branded as the National Cup (), is a Vietnamese football competition. It is one of the most important club competitions in Vietnam. The Vietnamese Cup was first held in 1992. Cảng Sài Gòn was the first cup winner. Format Since 2004, entry is open to all teams that competed in the V.League 1 and the V.League 2. The two teams that reach the final were exempt from the preliminary rounds of the next year's competition. The cup winners would qualify to the Qualifying playoff round of AFC Champions League Two. V.League 1 teams are not allowed to use foreign players if they play against a V.League 2 team. The Vietnamese National Cup winner will also qualify for a single match of the Vietnamese Super Cup against the V.League 1 champion.
