Léonice Huet
Léonice Huet (born 21 May 2000) is a French badminton player. Born in Dieppe, Seine-Maritime, she started her career in BadBonneval club, and in 2014 joined the CLT Orléans. She won her first senior international title at the 2016 Riga International (badminton), Latvia International tournament in the mixed doubles event at the age of 16. Huet was part of the national junior team that won the mixed team title at the 2017 European Junior Badminton Championships, 2017 and 2018 European Junior Badminton Championships, 2018 European Junior Championships. She participated at the Badminton at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics, 2018 Summer Youth Olympics, helps the team Omega took the silver medal in the Badminton at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics – Mixed teams, mixed team event. Dieppe
Dieppe (; ; or Old Norse ) is a coastal commune in the Seine-Maritime department, Normandy, northern France. Dieppe is a seaport on the English Channel at the mouth of the river Arques. The Badminton World Federation, aka BWF, is the international governing body for the sport of badminton approved by the International Olympic Committee. It was founded on 5 July 1934 as the International Badminton Federation with nine member nations: Canada, Denmark, England, France, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Scotland and Wales. Thom Gicquel
Thom Mark Gicquel (born 12 January 1999) is a French badminton player. Competing in the mixed doubles, he was able to reach the top 10 of the BWF world rankings with his partner Delphine Delrue. Together with Delrue, he won the gold medal in the 2024 European Championships; silver in the 2022 European Championships, and 2023 European Games; and also bronze in the 2019 European Games. Gicquel's achievements began when he still in a young age. He claimed the gold medals at the 2017 European Junior Championships in the mixed team and the boys' doubles events, and then when he had just risen to senior level, he won the men's doubles gold in the 2018 Mediterranean Games. The Swedish Open is an open badminton tournament that is annually held since 2018, previously from 1956 to 2000 after which the organizer, Svenska Badmintonförbundet, could no longer find a suitable sponsor. To some extent it has been replaced by the Swedish International Stockholm tournament.
