Lærke Møller
Lærke Møller (born 14 January 1989) is a former Danish handball player, who last played for the club Team Esbjerg and for the Danish women's national handball team. She has worked as a handball expert on the Danish tv-channel TV 2. Career Lærke Møller started playing at a hometown club HK Star at age 7. During childhood she also played for Visse IF, before joining Aalborg DH. At the age of 16 she debuted for the senior team in a Champion League match. Shortly after she signed her first profesional contract. She was a part of the Aalborg league team until she was 20, where she switched to FC Midtjylland Håndbold. Here she won two Danish championships in 2011 and 2013 and the Danish cup in 2012. After 5 years she joined league rivals TTH Holstebro. After 2 seasons she joined Team Esbjerg. Danmarks Radio
DR (), officially the Danish Broadcasting Corporation in English, is a Danish public-service radio and television broadcasting company. Danish Handball Cup
The Danish Men's Handball cup () is the nationwide cup tournament for men's handball teams in Denmark. It’s also known as Santander Cup for sponsorship reasons. The competition has been played annually since 1964. Tournament structure The initial fase of the tournament is split in two. They are managed by the three regional federations, Jydsk Håndbold Forbund (JHF) in Jutland, and Håndboldregion Øst (HRØ) in Sealand together with Fyns Håndbold Forbund (FHF) in fyn. The western half of the initial tournament lasts 7 rounds, while the eastern half lasts 6 round. After the initial fase the DHF taking over the tournament at the round of 16. At the round of 16 and onwards, there are no longer geographical considerations, when drawing the matches. The tournament ultimately results in a final four event scheduled between Christmas and New Year. The Kvindeligaen () is the top professional league for Danish women's handball clubs. It is administered by the Danish Handball Federation, and the winners are recognized as Danish champions. The league was previously called Bambusa Kvindeligaen for sponsorship reasons. It has previously been known as HTH GO Ligaen, Primo Tours Ligaen, Boxer Dameligaen, TOMS Ligaen and GuldBageren Ligaen. Thomas Enevoldsen
Thomas Enevoldsen (born 27 July 1987) is a Danish former professional footballer who played as a forward. He made eleven appearances for the Denmark national team scoring one goal. Club career AaB Enevoldsen was born in Frejlev, a suburb to Aalborg. He got his domestic breakthrough during AaB's championship-winning 2007–08 Danish Superliga season. Enevoldsen played 31 of 33 Superliga games and scored three goals. He also played well at the European stage, and scored a goal at White Hart Lane against Tottenham Hotspur in the 2007–08 UEFA Cup, to put AaB one ahead in a game they eventually lost 3–2. On 3 April 2008, he was selected as Player of the Month in March by the managers and team captains of the Superliga clubs. 2010 European Women's Handball Championship
The 2010 European Women's Handball Championship was held in Denmark and Norway from 7 to 19 December. It was the first European Championship hosted by two countries. Norway won their overall 5th gold medal, when they defeated first time finalist Sweden in the final. Romania claimed the bronze medal. Venues Three Danish and two Norwegian cities have been selected to host the 2010 Championship. The venues in Aalborg, Aarhus and Larvik were only used during the preliminary round. The fourth venue to be used in this round is located in Lillehammer, and was also one of the two venues in the main round. 2011 World Women's Handball Championship
The 2011 World Women's Handball Championship was the 20th edition of the international championship tournament in women's Team sport handball that is governed by the International Handball Federation (IHF). Brazil hosted the event from 2–18 December 2011. On 18 December 2011, Norway successfully contested France 32–24 in the final. Norway was the second team to achieve a triple title cache all in the same tournament by winning the World Championship, European Championship and Olympic Games titles. Denmark had made this achievement previously. France lost, its second consecutive World Championship final (2009), to Russia. Norway automatically qualified for the 2012 Olympic Handball tournament and 2013 World Championship.
