László Bodnár
László Bodnár (; born 25 February 1979) is a Hungarian former professional footballer who played as a right back for clubs in Hungary, Ukraine, the Netherlands and Austria. He made 45 appearances for the Hungary national team. Personal life Bodnár was born in Mátészalka. On 28 August 2009, he caused a fatal road accident which killing a cyclist. He was found guilty for speeding and was given a one-year prison sentence which was suspended for a one-year probation. He was also to pay a €1000 fine. Mátészalka
Mátészalka is a town in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county, in the Northern Great Plain region of eastern Hungary. It is on the Kraszna River, 52 kilometers from the city of Nyiregyhaza. Geography It covers an area of and has a population of 17,015 people (2011). The town was the birthplace of actor Tony Curtis' father, Emanuel Schwartz. Population In 2001, the population of Mátészalka was nearly 96% Hungarian, 3% Romani, and 1% German. History Mátészalka was created from the merger of two large villages: Máté, founded in 1231 and Szalka, created in 1268. From the fifteenth century, Mátészalka was a market settlement. From 1920 - 1950 it was the seat of the authorities of some of the committees Szatmár, Ugocsa and Bereg remaining in Hungary after the Trianon Treaty. In 1969 Mátészalka received city rights. The Hungarian Cup (, ), officially known as MOL Magyar Kupa for sponsorship reasons, is the Hungarian cup competition for football clubs. It was started by the Hungarian Football Association'','' in 1909, eight years after the commencement of the Hungarian League. Besides all of the professional clubs of Hungary numerous amateur sides take part every year. These have to qualify through local cup competitions. CIS Cup
The Commonwealth of Independent States Cup () is a defunct annual regional association football tournament, recognized by FIFA. The tournament was initially established for football clubs of the former Soviet Union republics in 1993 (a year later since the collapse). On several occasions, some national football organizations of the former Soviet republics as well as individual clubs refused participation in the tournament for different reasons. Usually the invitation was sent to the best clubs of the Commonwealth of Independent States member states, as well as Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, i.e. either a champion or a runner-up, while in the later editions the Cup (before 2012) saw participation of clubs from Serbia and Finland.
