Lánchíd Rádió
Lánchíd Rádió (lit. "'' Chain Bridge Radio''") was a privately owned radio station in Hungary. It began broadcasting 15 March 2007 and offered news, reports, interviews, cultural programs and popular music. It is Hungary's 10th most listened radio station. On April 11, 2018, the radio was partially ceased because the owners did not want to continue funding it. Currently, only music is being played, because the radio has obligation to broadcast until the frequency license expiration. The radio station was founded by a media group owned by Lajos Simicska which also operates Hír TV and Magyar Nemzet. The radio station's political views have been called conservative, right wing and national-populist. Hír TV is a Hungarian television news channel, the first of such made in the country. It began broadcasting on 2 January 2003. History Initial years On 26 November 2002, the TV channel was registered using 20 million Hungarian forints (~64.350 euros) of capital. Lajos Simicska
Lajos Simicska (born 28 January 1960) is a former Hungarian business magnate, a former politician of Fidesz, and he was the head of APEH, Hungary's internal revenue service between 1998–1999, during the first government of Viktor Orbán. He was the ninth richest person in Hungary in 2016 (dropped to 49th in 2020). He had extensive media interests, which included '' Magyar Nemzet'', the number one daily conservative newspaper, the radio station Lánchíd Rádió, the weekly magazine Heti Válasz and the television network Hír TV. Lecsó ( , ; Czech and ; ; ; ; , ), also anglicized as lecho, is a Hungarian thick vegetable ragout or stew which traditionally contains yellow pointed peppers, tomato, onion, salt, and ground sweet and/or hot paprika as a base recipe. The onions and peppers are usually sauteed in lard, bacon fat, or sunflower oil. Garlic can also be a traditional ingredient. It is also considered to be traditional food in Czech, Slovak and former Yugoslavian cuisine and is also very common in Poland and Austria.
