Lypnyky, Ternopil Oblast
Lypnyky (formerly Mali and Velyki Lypnyky) is a hamlet on the site of which the village of Zavodske was built at the same time as the Chortkiv Sugar Plant. Name The historical name of the hamlet was formed semantically from the geographical term "lypnyk", which means "linden forest", "small linden forest". Zavodske ( uk, Заводське) is a rural settlement in Chortkiv Raion, Ternopil Oblast, western Ukraine. It hosts the administration of Zavodske settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Chortkiv Raion ( uk, Чортківський район) is a raion in Ternopil Oblast in western Ukraine. Its administrative center is the city of Chortkiv.
