Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Mohamedou
Mohamed Mahmoud Ould Mohamedou (; 3 April 1968 – 17 September 2024) was a Mauritanian diplomat, political historian and public intellectual. A Harvard University academic, Mohamedou was professor of international history and politics at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. His work focused on political violence, state-building, racism, and the history of international relations. Mohamedou was a member of the Centre on Conflict, Development and Peacebuilding and the Albert Hirschman Centre on Democracy and was regarded as a leading international expert on the new forms of transnational terrorism. Mohamedou was also a visiting professor at Sciences Po Paris in the Doctoral School. Before this he served as the deputy director and academic dean of the Geneva Center for Security Policy. Antonio Vega Tallés (a.k.a. Antonio Vega) (16 December 1957 – 12 May 2009) was a Spanish pop singer-songwriter. Biography He was born in Madrid. In a psychologist test he scored 168 IQ. He studied at the Liceo Francés de Madrid, where he acted for the first time at aged 14. Antonio Vega has been considered one of the fundamental composers of Spanish pop since the beginning of democracy. The intimacy of his songs and his sensitivity earned him admiration both from public and critics. He was addicted to drugs since the 80s, which over time ceased to be a secret from the public. Raimundo Saporta Namías (16 December 1926 – 2 February 1997) was a Spanish professional club basketball administrator. After his death, FIBA and Real Madrid renamed both the continental second-tier level FIBA European Cup Winners' Cup and the Pabellón Ciudad Deportiva arena in his honor.
