Luís Carlos Carvalho Dos Reis
Luís Carlos Carvalho dos Reis (born 28 December 1961), better known as Balu, is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a Fullback (association football), right back. Career Considered a very technical right-back, Balu spent most of his career at Cruzeiro, where he played from 1986 to 1991, made 288 appearances and won the state championships in 1987 and 1990. He was also elected Silver Ball in 1989 and called up to the Brazilian team a few times in 1990 and 1991, playing a single match. He ended his career at Portuguesa Santista, a team he also debuted in, and lives in the city of Santos to this day.
