Luz Jiménez Ormeño (born 18 December 1934) is a Chilean actress, theater director, and teacher who gained recognition for her performances in the roles of Maruja in the play ' (1979) and Kiki Blanche in the telenovela ' (1988). She has developed a career spanning 50 years, in which she gained popularity mainly as a theater and television actress. She began acting theatrically in the 1950s, and during the 1980s became one of the first important figures of the then-emerging telenovela industry at Televisión Nacional de Chile (TVN) centered around . Since then, she has been considered one of the country's most respected figures in the performing arts. Teresa of Jesus of Los Andes, OCD ( Spanish: ''Teresa de Jesús de Los Andes''; born Juana Enriqueta Josefina de Los Sagrados Corazones Fernández Solar; 13 July 1900 – 12 April 1920) was a Chilean nun of the Discalced Carmelites. Henrietta Maria de la Luz Gatica Boisier (January 15, 1922 – August 10, 1997), known as Malú Gatica, was a Chilean actress and singer. Biography Gatica was born in Purén. Claudio Guzmán (August 2, 1927 – July 12, 2008) was a Chilean-American television director, producer, art director, and production designer. Biography Guzmán was born in Rancagua, Chile, in 1927. As a young man, he enrolled at the University of Chile to study architecture, following in the footsteps of his architect father. In 1947, Guzmán had been appointed set designer for the Chilean National Ballet, the youngest ever up to that date.
