Lulu Guinness
Lucinda "Lulu" Jane Guinness (née Rivett-Carnac; born 29 May 1960) is a British accessories fashion designer. Biography She was born in May 1960, the daughter of Sir Miles Rivett-Carnac, 9th Baronet, descended from a chairman of the East India Company who was also an MP and (briefly) Governor of Bombay. In 1986, she married the Honourable Valentine Guinness (born 9 March 1959), a younger son of the 3rd Baron Moyne. She has two daughters, Tara and Madeleine. The couple divorced in 2013,having lived apart for several years. Lulu was appointed an OBE for services to the Fashion Industry in the 2006 Queen's Birthday Honours and in 2009 received ''The Independent'' Handbag Designer Awards ICONOCLAST Award for "Lifetime Achievement in Handbag Design". Lulu Guinness company Lulu Guinness was launched in 1989 as a handbag and accessories retailer and currently operates multinationally. Rivett-Carnac Baronets
The Rivett-Carnac Baronetcy, of Derby, is a title in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom. It was created on 12 March 1836 for Sir James Rivett-Carnac, 1st Baronet, James Rivett-Carnac, Chairman of the Honourable East India Company, East India Company, Member of Parliament for Sandwich (UK Parliament constituency), Sandwich and Governor of Bombay. His father James Rivett had assumed by Royal warrant the additional surname of Carnac in 1801. The second Baronet represented Lymington (UK Parliament constituency), Lymington in the British House of Commons, House of Commons as a Conservative Party (UK), Conservative. The fourth Baronet was missing for many years, with his last confirmed location being Seattle in 1906. Baron Moyne
Baron Moyne, of Bury St Edmunds in the County of Suffolk, is a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. It was created in 1932 for the Hon. Walter Guinness, a Conservative politician. A member of the prominent Guinness brewing family, he was the third son of the 1st Earl of Iveagh, who was himself the third son of Sir Benjamin Guinness, 1st Baronet, of Ashford. His son, the 2nd Baron, was a poet and novelist.
