''Lull'' is an EP by American alternative rock band the Smashing Pumpkins, released November 1, 1991. Background "Rhinoceros" was taken from ''Gish'' (but the feedback ending is cut here), "Blue" later appeared on ''Pisces Iscariot'' and an acoustic version later appeared on the bonus disc for the 2011 reissue of ''Gish.'' A live version of "Slunk" later appeared on '' Vieuphoria'' and its soundtrack album '' Earphoria'' with alternate lyrics (the line "Sister above" is changed to "You talk shit like a chump"). As well, a demo version of "Slunk" exists with Jimmy Chamberlin on vocals with alternate lyrics called "Chump", (the line "Sister above" is changed to "You suck dick like a chump"). "Blue" and "Slunk" were outtakes from the ''Gish'' sessions. "Bye June" is a 1989 recording from the ''Reel Time Studio Sessions'', originally released on the ''Moon'' demo. The Smashing Pumpkins (also simply known as Smashing Pumpkins) are an American alternative rock band formed in Chicago in 1988 by frontman and guitarist Billy Corgan, guitarist James Iha, bassist D'arcy Wretzky and drummer Jimmy Chamberlin. ''Earphoria'' is a live album by American alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins. It is the soundtrack of the band's '' Vieuphoria'' video. While the video has been widely available since its initial release, the CD was initially released as a limited number (under 1000) of promo copies in 1994, and was subsequently heavily bootlegged.Dahlen, Chris. Jimmy Chamberlin
James Joseph Chamberlin (born June 10, 1964) is an American drummer and record producer. Described as "one of the most powerful drummers in rock," he is best known as the drummer for the alternative rock band the Smashing Pumpkins. Following the 2000 breakup of the band, Chamberlin joined Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan in the Supergroup (music), supergroup Zwan and also formed his own current group, the Jimmy Chamberlin Complex. In late 2005, Chamberlin joined Corgan in reforming Smashing Pumpkins; he eventually left the group in March 2009, though he returned again in 2015 for a summer tour, and has officially performed with the band since then. Following guitarist Jeff Schroeder's departure in October 2023, Chamberlin is the band's second-longest serving member. D'arcy Wretzky
D'arcy Elizabeth Wretzky (born May 1, 1968) is an American musician. She was the original bassist of the alternative rock band the Smashing Pumpkins and is credited on their first six studio albums. She left the band in 1999. She has also been a member of Catherine and performed with Filter. Early life Wretzky was born and grew up in South Haven, Michigan where her mother, Vikke Anderson, a working musician, encouraged D'arcy and her sisters to perform music. James Iha
(born March 26, 1968) is an American rock musician. He is best known as a guitarist and co-founder of the alternative rock band the Smashing Pumpkins. He was a member until the band's initial breakup in 2000 and rejoined in 2018. Iha has also produced songs, contributed guitar, keyboards and vocals and produced remixes for a number of artists, including Midnight Movies, Isobel Campbell, Marilyn Manson, Whiskeytown, Scott Weiland and Michael Stipe. Among his other musical projects, Iha has been a permanent fixture of supergroup A Perfect Circle since 2003. "Today" is a song by American alternative rock band the Smashing Pumpkins, written by lead vocalist and guitarist Billy Corgan.
