Luis Ángel Mendoza
Luis Ángel Mendoza Escamilla (born 3 February 1990), also known as El Quick, is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a winger. Club career Mendoza made his debut with Tigres UANL on 18 February 2010, against Santos Laguna, coming on as a substitute. He played in five more games, starting once and afterwards he was sent to Ascenso MX club La Piedad. For the Apertura 2012, Mendoza signed with San Luis. Club América Mendoza's consistency and good performances earned the attention of América, whom he eventually signed for prior to the Apertura 2013 tournament. Mendoza made his debut on 31 July 2013, against León, and eventually became an undisputed starter in the club's starting-eleven. His best performance of the tournament came on 24 August against Morelia, where he scored a brace and had an assist in América's 3–1 victory in the Estadio Azteca. The 2013–14 Liga MX season (known as the Liga BBVA Bancomer MX for sponsorship reasons) was the 67th professional top-flight football league season in Mexico. The 2021 Campeón de Campeones was the 48th edition of the Campeón de Campeones, an annual football super cup match, and the 47th held in the professional era of Mexican football. It took place on 18 July 2021 between León, the Guardianes 2020 champion, and Cruz Azul, the Guardianes 2021 champion. The match took place at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California, hosting for the fifth consecutive time. Like previous editions, the Campeón de Campeones was contested at a neutral venue in the United States. Campeón de Campeones () is an association football competition in Mexico and the domestic super cup between the Liga MX champions of the ''Apertura'' and ''Clausura'' tournaments. The 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification was a series of tournaments organised by the six FIFA confederations. The 2014 FIFA World Cup featured 32 teams, with one place reserved for the host nation, Brazil. The remaining 31 places were determined by a qualification process, in which the other 207 teams, from the six FIFA confederations, competed. Most of the successful teams were determined within these confederations, with a limited number of inter-confederation play-offs occurring at the end of the process. Miguel Herrera
Miguel Ernesto Herrera Aguirre (born 18 March 1968), popularly referred to by his nickname "Piojo" (Spanish for "louse"), is a Mexican professional football manager and former player. He is the current manager of the Costa Rica national team. A former defender, Herrera began his career playing with second division side Deportivo Neza in 1985, then transferring to Tecos UAG in 1987, and making his debut in the Primera División in 1988. After a brief period with Santos Laguna, in 1989 Herrera transferred to Atlante and went on to play for the club on three occasions, winning his only league championship as a player during the 1992–93 season. He also had a notable spell with Toros Neza, making over 100 appearances for the club from 1995 till 1999. He retired with Atlante in 2000.
