Luis Javier Suárez Charris (born 2 December 1997) is a Colombian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Segunda División club Almería and the Colombia national football team Club career Born in Santa Marta, Suárez made his senior debut with Leones on 5 October 2015, coming on as a second-half substitute in a 1–3 Categoría Primera B away loss against América de Cali. The following 1 March, after eight first-team appearances, he was loaned to Granada CF until 2017 with a buyout clause, and was assigned to the reserves in Segunda División B. On 17 July 2017, after having his federative rights assigned to Watford, Suárez was loaned to Real Valladolid B in the third division for a year. The 2015 Categoría Primera B season (officially known as the 2015 Torneo Águila season for sponsorship reasons) was the 26th season since its founding. Format 16 teams competed in this Categoría Primera B season, a decrease from 18 in the last season due to the expansion of the Categoría Primera A to 20 teams starting from this season and the realization of a special promotion tournament to promote 2 additional teams to the Primera A at the start of the season. 2020 Segunda División Play-offs
The 2019–20 Segunda División play-offs were played from 13 August to 23 August 2020 and determined the third team promoted to 2020–21 La Liga, La Liga for the following season. Teams placed between 3rd and 6th position took part in the promotion play-offs. Regulations The regulations were the same as the previous season: in the semi-finals, the fifth-placed team faced the fourth-placed team, while the sixth-placed team faced the third. 2019–20 Segunda División
The 2019–20 Segunda División season, also known as LaLiga SmartBank for sponsorship reasons, was the 89th since its establishment. On 12 March 2020 after most of teams had played 31 games, the league was suspended for at least two weeks due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Spain. The league was suspended indefinitely on 23 March. The season recommenced on 10 June and was initially planned to be completed on 20 July. On 20 July 2020, the final day of the regular season, Deportivo de La Coruña's match against Fuenlabrada was suspended indefinitely due to several Fuenlabrada players testing positive for COVID-19, therefore, delaying the official end of the season, whilst relegating Deportivo without even playing their match.
