2020 Segunda División Play-offs
The 2019–20 Segunda División play-offs were played from 13 August to 23 August 2020 and determined the third team promoted to 2020–21 La Liga, La Liga for the following season. Teams placed between 3rd and 6th position took part in the promotion play-offs. Regulations The regulations were the same as the previous season: in the semi-finals, the fifth-placed team faced the fourth-placed team, while the sixth-placed team faced the third. Each tie was played over Two-legged tie, two legs, with the team lower in the table hosting the first leg. The team that scored more goals on aggregate over the two legs advanced to the next round. If the aggregate score was level, the away goals rule was applied (i.e., the team that scored more goals away from home over the two legs advanced). Estadi Montilivi
Estadi Montilivi is a multi-use stadium in Girona, Catalonia, Spain. It is used mostly for Association football, football matches and serves as the home ground of Girona FC. It was built and opened in 1970. Montilivi has a capacity of 14,624. History The side stand of the Montilivi Stadium was completed in June 2010, seven months behind schedule. Since the entrances were still not finished, the stadium was not open for public use in the 2009–10 season. On March 2, 2011, it was able to hold the first match with the side stands, and 9,285 spectators attended. 2019–20 Segunda División
The 2019–20 Segunda División season, also known as LaLiga SmartBank for sponsorship reasons, was the 89th since its establishment. On 12 March 2020 after most of teams had played 31 games, the league was suspended for at least two weeks due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Spain. The league was suspended indefinitely on 23 March. The season recommenced on 10 June and was initially planned to be completed on 20 July. On 20 July 2020, the final day of the regular season, Deportivo de La Coruña's match against Fuenlabrada was suspended indefinitely due to several Fuenlabrada players testing positive for COVID-19, therefore, delaying the official end of the season, whilst relegating Deportivo without even playing their match. The match was finally played on 7 August, resulting in a 2–1 win for Deportivo. Pere Milla Peña (born 23 September 1992) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a winger for RCD Espanyol. Club career Born in Lleida, Catalonia, Milla graduated from UE Lleida's youth setup. La Romareda
Estadio de La Romareda () is the home stadium of Real Zaragoza, in Zaragoza, Spain. It was inaugurated on 8 September 1957, with a game between Real Zaragoza and CA Osasuna (4–3). The official capacity is 33,608, with an average attendance of around 20,000 for Real Zaragoza matches. Currently, it is the 12th-largest stadium in Spain and the largest in Aragon. Juan Francisco Martínez Modesto (born 10 June 1980), known as Nino, is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a striker, currently assistant manager of Elche CF Ilicitano. The Estadio Martínez Valero is a stadium located in the Spanish city of Elche in the province of Alacant, province of Alicante, Valencian Community.
