Luis Silva (Mexican Footballer)
Luis Saúl Silva López (born 10 December 1988) is a Mexican former professional association football, footballer who played as an Midfielder, attacking midfielder or Forward (association football), forward. Early life and education Silva was born in Oaxaca, Mexico, and moved to Los Angeles at a young age. Silva spent two years playing with local youth club Pateadores, helping them win the Premier Division in 2006, as well as spending two years with C.D. Chivas USA's U-19 team. Silva attended Bishop Mora Salesian High School in Los Angeles where he was a two-time California Interscholastic Federation, All-CIF selection as a midfielder and forward. Oaxaca
Oaxaca, officially the Free and Sovereign State of Oaxaca, is one of the 32 states that compose the political divisions of Mexico, Federative Entities of the Mexico, United Mexican States. It is divided into municipalities of Oaxaca, 570 municipalities, of which 418 (almost three quarters) are governed by the system of (customs and traditions) with recognized local forms of self-governance. Big West Conference
The Big West Conference (BWC) is an American collegiate List of NCAA conferences, athletic conference whose member institutions participate in the National Collegiate Athletic Association's NCAA Division I, Division I. The conference was originally formed on July 1, 1969, as the Pacific Coast Athletic Association (PCAA), and in 1988 was renamed the Big West Conference. The conference stopped sponsoring college football after the 2000 season. Among the conference's 11 member institutions, 10 are located in California (nine in Southern California alone), and one is located in Hawaii (though the Hawaii member is leaving for the Mountain West Conference, effective July 1, 2026). Chicago Fire Football Club is an American professional soccer club based in Chicago. The club competes in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member of the Eastern Conference. The 2011–12 CONCACAF Champions League championship round was played from March to April 2012. A total of eight teams qualified for the championship round: the four group winners and the four group runners-up from the group stage. The draw for the championship round was held on November 8, 2011, at the CONCACAF headquarters in New York City. In the quarter-finals, the group winners were assured of playing the second leg at home, and were drawn against the group runners-up, with the only restriction being that they could not face the same team that they played in the group stage (and thus they could face a team from the same association). The championship round was played in knockout format. Christian Ramirez (born April 4, 1991) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a forward for Major League Soccer club LA Galaxy.
