Lucas Otávio
Lucas Otávio Veiga Lopes (born 9 October 1994), known as Lucas Otávio, is a Brazilian retired footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. Club career Born in Cornélio Procópio, Paraná, Lucas Otávio began his career in hometown's Bandeirantes Esporte Clube (BEC), and joined Santos FC in 2005, after impressing in a match against ''Peixe''. In April 2012, he signed a three-year professional deal with the latter. In July 2013, Lucas Otávio was promoted to Santos' main squad. On the 24th he made his first team debut, in a 2–0 away win against CRAC in that season's Copa do Brasil. On 5 June 2014, Lucas Otávio was loaned to Série B side Paraná until December. A regular starter under manager Claudinei Oliveira, he eventually lost his place under Ricardinho, with his loan being cut short on 26 November due to an injury. Cornélio Procópio
Cornélio Procópio is a municipality in the state of Paraná in the Southern Region of Brazil. The city is served by Francisco Lacerda Junior Airport. History It was thus named in honor of Colonel Cornélio Procópio de Araújo Carvalho, a prominent figure in the Empire during the late 19th century. The colonel was the patron of the railway station at km 125, which is the landmark of the entire economic expansion of the region in which the city is located. Colonel Procópio, who died in 1909, left nine children, including Maria Balbina Procópio Junqueira, married to his second cousin, Francisco da Cunha Junqueira, owner of Gleba Laranjinha, who named the town of Santa Mariana, which until then was just a farm. Dorival Júnior
Dorival Silvestre Júnior (; born 25 April 1962) is a Brazilian professional football coach and former player. He is the current head coach of Corinthians. A defensive midfielder, Júnior notably played for Palmeiras. After retiring, he began his coaching career in 2002 with Ferroviária, but only gained national notoriety in 2010 when coaching Neymar's Santos. He later led Flamengo to a 2022 Copa Libertadores win and São Paulo to their first-ever Copa do Brasil title in 2023, before being named head coach of the Brazil national team in January 2024. The Campeonato Paulista Série A1, commonly known as Campeonato Paulista, nicknamed Paulistão, is the top-flight professional state football league in the Brazilian state of São Paulo. 2015 Santos FC Season
The 2015 season is Santos Futebol Clube's 103rd season in existence and the club's fifty-sixth consecutive season in the top flight of Brazilian football. As well as the Campeonato Brasileiro, the club competes in the Copa do Brasil and the Campeonato Paulista. On 13 December 2014, Modesto Roma Júnior was elected the new president, after winning by 1,329 votes. On 5 March 2015 manager Enderson Moreira was sacked, and the assistant Marcelo Fernandes was appointed as interim; the latter was definitely appointed as manager seven days later. On 3 May 2015, Santos was crowned champions of Campeonato Paulista after a three-year absence, after defeating Palmeiras by 2–1 in the finals (2–2 aggregate score, 4–2 on penalties). 2014 Santos FC Season
The 2014 season is Santos Futebol Clube's 102nd season in existence and the club's Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, fifty-fifth consecutive season in the top flight of Football in Brazil, Brazilian football. As well as the Campeonato Brasileiro, the club competes in the Copa do Brasil and the Campeonato Paulista. This season is the first in history that Santos uses fixed numbers assigned to each player. On 19 December 2013, Santos signed Leandro Damião from SC Internacional, Internacional for a fee of Brazilian real, R$ 42 million (Euro, €13m) (biggest transfer in history between two Brazilian clubs).
