Baron Lovelace, of Hurley, Berkshire, Hurley in the Berkshire, County of Berks, was a title in the Peerage of England. It was created on 31 May 1627 for Richard Lovelace, 1st Baron Lovelace, Sir Richard Lovelace, who had earlier represented Berkshire (UK Parliament constituency), Berkshire, Abingdon (UK Parliament constituency), Abingdon and Windsor (UK Parliament constituency), Windsor in Parliament. The second Baron served as Lord Lieutenant of Berkshire. The third Baron sat as Member of Parliament for Berkshire. The fourth Baron was Governor of New York (state), New York and New Jersey. ''Black Lagoon'' (stylized in all caps) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Rei Hiroe. It has been published in Shogakukan's manga magazine '' Monthly Sunday Gene-X'' since April 2002, with its chapters collected in 13 volumes as of December 2023. In North America, the manga is licensed for English release by Viz Media. The series follows the Lagoon Company, a four-member team of pirate mercenaries smuggling goods in and around the seas of Southeast Asia with their PT boat, the ''Black Lagoon''. Lovelace Biomedical Research Institute is a private contract research organization that is part of Touro University and New York Medical College (NYMC).
