Love Island (2015 TV Series) Series 8
The eighth series of ''Love Island'' was broadcast from 6 June 2022 to 1 August 2022 on ITV2 with Laura Whitmore presenting the series and Iain Stirling narrating. The series featured cameo appearances from singer Becky Hill, who appeared during a party in the villa performing songs including "Crazy What Love Can Do", as well as DJ Joel Corry, who performed during a VIP party. Alfie Boe also made an appearance to perform during a date. On 1 August 2022, the series was won by Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti with 63.7% of the final vote. Gemma Owen and Luca Bish finished as runners-up. The 'split or steal' element was cut from the eighth series finale for the first time in the show's history. With 'split or steal,' the winners are presented with two sealed envelopes, one that's empty and one that contains a £50k prize. Laura Whitmore
Laura Whitmore (born 4 May 1985) is an Irish media personality, model and actress based in London. She was a video jockey for MTV in 2008, and has since presented television shows, such as ''This Morning'' (2014), ''Survival of the Fittest'' (2018) and '' Love Island'' (2020–2022). In 2020, Whitmore became a team captain on the comedy panel show '' Celebrity Juice''. In 2023, Whitmore hosted her first ITV1 chat show ''Laura Whitmore's Breakfast Show'' and released her own one-off ITVX documentary series ''Laura Whitmore Investigates''. Early life Whitmore was born in Dublin on 4 May 1985. She has two half-brothers. Love Island (2015 TV Series, Series 4)
The fourth series of '' Love Island'', a British dating reality show, began on 4 June 2018 on ITV2, and concluded on 30 July 2018. It is the fourth from the current revived series, but sixth overall. Caroline Flack presented the series, while Iain Stirling narrated it. The series opener received the highest rating on a digital TV programme since the 2012 Summer Olympics were broadcast on BBC Three; it was also the most watched programme ever on ITV2. On 30 July 2018, the series was won by Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham having received 79.66% of the final vote, making this the biggest winning percentage since the show began.
