Lothar Schämer
Lothar Schämer (28 April 1940 – 27 December 2017) was a German professional footballer who played as a defender. Schämer played his entire professional career at Eintracht Frankfurt. In the 1963–64 season, he was part of the Frankfurt squad that debuted in the new founded Bundesliga scoring the first goal with a penalty against 1. FC Kaiserslautern. Finally, Schämer appeared in 216 Bundesliga fixtures netting 24 goals. His last match for Eintracht was on the 34th of the 1972–73 season against MSV Duisburg. The DFB-Pokal (), also known as the German Cup in English language, English, is a German knockout Association football, football cup competition held annually by the German Football Association (DFB). 1966–67 Intertoto Cup
The 1966–67 Intertoto Cup was won by Eintracht Frankfurt in the final against Inter Bratislava, the last final of the tournament in the traditional '1 cup, 1 winner' sense. This was also last season that knock-out rounds were contested, until UEFA took over the competition in 1995, and the last ever occasion that an outright winner was declared. Although the competition had returned to the old 32 clubs / eight groups format the year before, this was altered with the tournament expanding to 40 clubs / ten groups. This was Bratislava's third final in five seasons (the previous two, which they won, under their old name Slovnaft).
