''Los Últimos Héroes'' is a studio album by the Puerto Rican boy band Menudo, released in 1989 by the record label Melody.. The album was produced and recorded in Caracas, Venezuela, by Willie Croes, who is a producer and husband of Brazilian singer Elisa Rego.. The group's lineup included Sergio Gonzalez, Rubén Gómez, Angelo García, Robert Avellanet, and the new member Rawy Torres, who replaced Ricky Martin. Promotion To promote the album, the group embarked on an extensive tour, performing 40 shows in the United States and various other countries in South America. In 1989, a concert held in Caracas was released on VHS. The recordings took place at El Poliedro De Caracas on October 28 and 29 (Saturday and Sunday), 1989. The album's title was revived years later when the group reunited for a series of concerts in Puerto Rico and other Latin America countries in 2002 and 2005. Menudo is a Puerto Rican boy band formed by producer Edgardo Díaz. Referred to as the "most iconic Latino pop music band", they have been ranked as one of the biggest boy bands of all time by several publications, including ''Billboard (magazine), Billboard'', ''Us Weekly'', ''Seventeen (American magazine), Seventeen'', and ''Teen Vogue'', being the only Latin band on their lists. Angelo García
Angelo Garcia (born March 28, 1976) is an American singer of Puerto Rican descent, who was a member of Puerto Rican boy band Menudo from 1988 to 1990. Career A native New Yorker born in Brooklyn, New York, he barely spoke Spanish when he auditioned for a spot in the band Menudo after seeing a television commercial in Puerto Rico during a family vacation. After two years with Menudo, García parted with the band and signed with World Wide Entertainment. As a solo artist he recorded several songs including "Magic", "Yours So Completely", and a remake of singer Tiffany's hit song " Could've Been" but it was his single "Don't Keep Me Holding On" (written and produced by Lewis Martineé of Exposé fame) that became a success.
