Lomnice nad Lužnicí () is a town in Jindřichův Hradec District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,800 inhabitants. Geography Lomnice nad Lužnicí is located about west of Jindřichův Hradec and northeast of České Budějovice. It lies in the Třeboň Basin and in the Třeboňsko Protected Landscape Area.
