Ljubiša Ćosić
Ljubiša Ćosić ( sr-cyrl, Љубиша Ћосић; born 2 October 1979) is a Bosnian Serb politician serving as the 8th mayor of Istočno Sarajevo. He previously served as the municipal mayor of Istočno Novo Sarajevo from 2012 to 2020. He is member of the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats (SNSD). Ćosić has a master's degree in economics and is a PhD student at the University of Banja Luka. Ćosić worked as interpreter for the OSCE, and as intern at the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina and at the National Democratic Institute in Washington, DC. He then worked for the Sarajevo Regional Development Agency (SERDA, 2004-06) and the State Investigation and Protection Agency of BiH (SIPA, 2006-08). Istočno Sarajevo
Istočno Sarajevo ( sr-cyr, Источно Сарајево, lit=East Sarajevo) is a city in Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It consists of a few suburban areas located south of pre-war Sarajevo which are now included in the Republika Srpska entity, and newly built areas. The seat of the city is the neighborhood of Lukavica (Istočno Novo Sarajevo), Lukavica, Istočno Novo Sarajevo. Slobodan ( sr-Cyrl, Слободан) is a Serbo-Croatian masculine given name which means "free" (''sloboda'' / meaning "freedom, liberty") used among other South Slavs as well.
