Ljiljana Petrović
Ljiljana Petrović ( sr-cyr, Љиљана Петровић; 1939 – 4 February 2020) was a Serbian singer. She was born in Bosanski Brod, but was brought up in Novi Sad. She began to sing at local clubs and restaurants, and performed at a festival in Mali Lošinj in 1960, where she was noticed by the head of the artists and repertoire division at the record label Jugoton. In 1961, Petrović represented Yugoslavia in the Eurovision Song Contest 1961 with the song "Neke davne zvezde" (Some ancient stars). Petrović finished in 8th place receiving 9 points. Subsequently, she continued to record music until the late 1970s, at which point she retired from public life until the late 1980s, when she became an author, releasing a book of poetry in 1991. Ljiljana Ranković (born 8 April 1993 in Valjevo) is a Serbian volleyball player. She played for the Serbia women's national volleyball team. Ranković joined the OK Vizura Belgrade when she was only 14, and has won three national titles with the club. She only spent the 2014/15 season on a loan with the Smeč 5 from Kragujevac, recovering from an injury and helping them establish themselves in the national league. She stayed with Vizura until 2016. As the team captain, she led Vizura in the 2016 victory in the national cup and was named MVP of the season for the 2015/16 season. Ljiljana Raičević ( sr-cyr, Љиљана Раичевић; born 29 June 1947, née Petrović) is a human rights and women's rights activist in Serbia and Montenegro. She was the 2006 laureate of Amnesty International's Ginetta Sagan Fund Award. Raicevic created Montenegro's SOS LINE, the first NGO that in that country which served women by providing resources for women in abusive relationships. After noticing that the women calling the SOS LINE needed additional assistance, such a safe place to stay, as well as medical, psychological, and legal assistance, Raičević established the Women's Safe House, the first shelter in Montenegro for victims of domestic violence.
