''Living on the Edge'' is the first studio album by French DJ Stéphane Pompougnac. In Thailand, Pompougnac held a launch party for the album and '' Hôtel Costes, Vol. 6'' on March 2, 2004, at the Si Lom Road Sofitel in Bangkok. In Canada, the album was released on August 3, 2004, by Isla Del Sol. Stéphane Pompougnac
Stéphane Pompougnac (born 1968) is a French House music, house DJ and record producer. Biography Pompougnac was born in Paris in 1968 to a psychotherapist and a dental surgeon. He spent his early life in Bordeaux. His first job was as a waiter at the courtyard café of Hôtel Costes in Paris' Les Halles district. He started DJing at 18 years of age, at Bordeaux discothèques such as Ubu, The Colony, and The Dream. After finishing his studies and Military service#France, national service, Pompougnac spent six months in London before returning to Paris in 1992. In Paris he Beatmixing, mixed at such discothèques as Queen, Folies Pigalle, The Locomotive, Diable des Lombards, and Privilège. One year later, he became the resident DJ at Les Bains et Douche, where he met Claude Challe. House Music
House is a genre of electronic dance music characterized by a repetitive Four on the floor (music), four-on-the-floor beat and a typical tempo of 115–130 beats per minute. The pschent (/pskʰént/; Greek '' ψχέντ'') was the double crown worn by rulers in ancient Egypt. The ancient Egyptians generally referred to it as Pa-sekhemty (''pꜣ-sḫm.ty''), the Two Powerful Ones, from which the Greek term is derived. Si Lom
Si Lom Road (also written as Silom, , ) is a major street in Bangkok, Thailand. The road is best known for its commerecial neighbourhood, which, along with the nearby and roughly parallel Sathon Road, forms one of the city's main business districts. It runs in a southwest–northeast direction between Charoen Krung and Rama IV roads in the city's Bang Rak District, forming the boundary between Suriyawong Subdistrict to its north and Si Lom Subdistrict to its south.
