''Live It Up!'' is a Canadian lifestyle, entertainment and consumer awareness television program that aired nationally on CTV from 1978 to 1990. Reruns of the show aired on talktv until January 2005. The program's hosts included Jack McGaw, Alan Edmonds, Mary Lou Finlay Mary Lou Finlay (born 1947) is a Canadian radio and television journalist, best known for hosting various programs on CBC Radio and CBC Television.

Jack McGaw
John Howard David "Jack" McGaw (May 22, 1936 – October 18, 2012) was a Canadians, Canadian journalist and radio operator. He was a cohost of the consumer newsmagazine ''Live It Up! (TV series), Live It Up!'' in the early 1980s, and subsequently produced and hosted freelance documentary programming. In the mid-1990s, McGaw launched a tourism, tourist information radio station on Vancouver Island. He subsequently moved to Halifax Urban Area, Halifax in 2001, and operated that city's CIRH-FM, and similar stations in the Information Radio network in locations across Canada. McGaw was born in Winnipeg, Winnipeg, Manitoba and grew up in Chilliwack, Chilliwack, British Columbia. He married three times in his life and had three children with his first wife. He died of gallbladder cancer on October 18, 2012 in Kitchener, Ontario, at the age of 76. Alan Edmonds
Arthur Denis Edmonds (1932 – September 13, 2004), better known by his pseudonym Alan Edmonds, was a reporter for newspapers, magazines, and television. Edmonds was born in England. He was a reporter on Fleet Street in London, England and after the war, immigrated to Canada, first to Vancouver, British Columbia, and, then Toronto. He wrote for the ''Toronto Star'', among others, and subsequently for ''Maclean's Magazine'', where he was the Senior Editor at one point. He wrote a number of articles while at ''Maclean's'', among them one on Steven Truscott. Education

Finlay graduated from the University of Ottawa in 1967 with a Bachelor of Arts, BA in English and French literature. For three years she did writing and researching for the Canadian War Museum before her leap to journalism when she began hosting a CBC Ottawa television magazine.
