Live In São Paulo (Sepultura Album)
''Live in São Paulo'' is the second live album by Brazilian heavy metal band Sepultura. All the tracks were recorded on April 3, 2005, at a concert in São Paulo, Brazil. A DVD was also filmed at the show. The performance of "Refuse/Resist" was released as the single for the album. Both were released on November 8, through SPV Records. The album and DVD are the second time that fans can hear singer Derrick Green perform Max Cavalera-era Sepultura songs on an official release. A live version of "Roots Bloody Roots" featuring Green was released as a bonus track on ''Nation''. Live Album
An album is a collection of audio recordings (e.g., music) issued on a medium such as compact disc (CD), vinyl (record), audio tape (like 8-track or cassette), or digital. Slave New World
"Slave New World" is Sepultura's sixth official single, and the final of three to be taken from the album '' Chaos A.D.'', released in 1994. The lyrics were co-written by Evan Seinfeld from Sepultura's Roadrunner label-mates Biohazard. Like most of the band's singles, the song is one of the band's best-known songs and remains a concert staple to this day. A music video was filmed for the single which features the band playing on what appears to be a volcano, intercut with footage of severe human conditioning, including branding people with barcodes. This video can be found on the VHS ''Third World Chaos'', which was later released on DVD as part of ''Chaos DVD''. Andreas Kisser
Andreas Rudolf Kisser (; born 24 August 1968) is a Brazilian musician, best known for being the lead guitarist for the metal band Sepultura. He has been featured on every Sepultura release since their second album, ''Schizophrenia''. Additionally, Kisser has also been involved in other bands such as the rock supergroup Hail!, Sexoturica and, more recently, De La Tierra. Biography Kisser was born in São Bernardo do Campo, a municipality in São Paulo to a Slovene mother from Maribor, Anna Maria Kisser (née Tarkusch), and a German father, Siegfried Kisser. Dazed And Confused (Jake Holmes Song)
"Dazed and Confused" is a song written by American singer-songwriter Jake Holmes in 1967. Performed in a folk rock-style, he recorded it for his debut album '' "The Above Ground Sound" of Jake Holmes''. Although some concluded that it was about a bad acid trip, Holmes insists the lyrics refer to the effects of a girl's indecision on ending a relationship. After hearing Holmes perform the song in August 1967, English rock group the Yardbirds reworked it with a new arrangement. "Dead Embryonic Cells" is Sepultura's second single, as well as the second of three to be released from the album '' Arise''. A music video for the song was produced and can be found on the VHS release ''Third World Chaos'', which itself was released on DVD as part of ''Chaos DVD''. The video features footage of the band performing in the wilderness accompanied by imagery from the album. At this stage in their career, the band had recorded little material to be used as B-sides, which is why the Arise singles are so similar.
