''Listennn... the Album'' is the debut studio album by American hip hop artist DJ Khaled. It was released on June 6, 2006. by Terror Squad Entertainment and Koch Records. The album features guest appearances from Young Jeezy, Bun B, Birdman, Juelz Santana, Slim Thug, Krayzie Bone, Chamillionaire, Trina, Twista, Freeway, Jadakiss, Beanie Sigel, Styles P and Lil Scrappy, among others. Reviews for the record were generally positive but divided over the production, lyrical content and Khaled as an artist. ''Listennn... the Album'' debuted at number 12 on the ''Billboard'' 200, selling 44,000 copies in its first week in the United States. "Born-N-Raised" is the third single from DJ Khaled's debut album, '' Listennn... the Album'', produced by The Runners. The single features Pitbull, Trick Daddy and Rick Ross. It was released on June 6, 2006. The song is also included on Pitbull's second studio album ''El Mariel''. Reception HipHopDX said, when reviewing for ''Listennn...the Album'': "Musically, Khaled and the crew keep it dirty with "Born-N-Raised," which is an infectious anthem.". Khaled Mohammed Khaled (born November 26, 1975), known professionally as DJ Khaled, is an American DJ, record executive, record producer and rapper. Khaled first gained recognition as a radio host in the 1990s on the radio station 99 Jamz, and translated his popularity by working with hip hop collective Terror Squad as a DJ for their live performances. Terror Squad Productions is an American Hip hop and Rap record company founded by Fat Joe in 1997. The label had been distributed by Atlantic, EMI, and Imperial, E1 (formerly Koch). The label's flagship artist was Big Pun. "Holla at Me" is the debut single by DJ Khaled, released in 2006 from his debut album '' Listennn... the Album''. The song features Lil Wayne, Paul Wall, Fat Joe, Rick Ross and Pitbull, and was produced by Cool & Dre. It samples Afrika Bambaataa & the Soulsonic Force's 1983 song " Looking for the Perfect Beat". "Grammy Family" is the second single from DJ Khaled's debut album, '' Listennn... the Album''. The single features and was written by Kanye West, Consequence and John Legend; Jon Brion assisted West in producing the track. As well as being featured on Khaled's album, the song appears on Consequence's album '' Don't Quit Your Day Job!'' (2007). The track's beat was sampled and rapped over by J. Cole on his debut mixtape '' The Come Up'' (2007). Composition "What the World Is Coming To" by Dexter Wansel is directly sampled throughout the hip hop song. As well as this, a riff from "You've Made Me So Very Happy" by Lou Rawls is made sample of throughout.
