2017–18 Ukrainian Premier League
The 2017–18 Ukrainian Premier League season was the 27th top level football club competitions since the fall of the Soviet Union and the tenth since the establishment of the Ukrainian Premier League. The tournament started on 16 July 2017 and ended on 19 May 2018. The relegation play-offs took place on 23 May and 26 May 2018. The league has scheduled to take its winter intermission after Round 19 on 9–10 December 2017 and resume its competition of the Championship with Round 20 on 17 February 2018. The 10-time winner FC Shakhtar Donetsk were the defending champions. The league's last season title sponsor, a bookmaker company Parimatch, withdrew from the sponsorship. On 7 July 2017, Pari-Match announced that it had ended its cooperation with the Ukrainian Premier League. Football Club Karpaty Lviv ( ) is a Ukrainian professional football club based in Lviv. In 2020–21 the club was reorganized and changed owner. During that period there existed two clubs with the same name, one at professional level competitions, another at amateur. Club Green Streets is a professional football club based in Malé, Maldives that competes in the Dhivehi Premier League, the top flight of Maldivian football. The club was founded in 2010, starting in the third division, and earned promotion to the 2nd division as the runners up in 2012. They later earned promotion to the first division in 2016 after an unbeaten season. FC Dynamo Brest (, ''FK Dynama Brest''; ) is a Belarusian professional football club based in Brest. The club plays in the Belarusian Premier League, the top division in Belarusian football. Alyaksandr Pyatrovich Hutar (; ; born 18 April 1989) is a Belarusian professional footballer. Club career While playing for Chornomorets Odesa, in September 2017 Hutar was recognized as a player of the month in the Ukrainian Premier League. International Hutar was the starting goaltender for the Belarus U21 side that finished in 3rd place at the 2011 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship and earned qualification for the 2012 Summer Olympics. Andriy Fedorenko (, born 9 January 1984) is a Ukrainian former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper.
