2024 Eliteserien
The 2024 Eliteserien was the 80th season of top-tier football in Norway. This was the eighth season of Eliteserien after rebranding from Tippeligaen. The season started on 31 March 2024 and ended on 1 December 2024, not including play-off matches. Bodø/Glimt are the defending champions. Fredrikstad, KFUM and Kristiansund joined as the promoted clubs from the 2023 Norwegian First Division. They replaced Vålerenga, Stabæk and Aalesund, who were relegated to the 2024 Norwegian First Division. Teams Sixteen teams compete in the league – the top thirteen teams from the previous season and three teams promoted from the First Division. The promoted teams were Fredrikstad, KFUM and Kristiansund. Kristiansund and Fredrikstad were promoted after respectively 1 and 11 seasons absent, while KFUM were promoted for the first time in their history. Jeppe Kjær Jensen (born 1 March 2004) is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a forward for Allsvenskan club Mjällby. Club career AC Horsens Kjær joined AC Horsens from local club Hatting/Torsted IF at the age of 12. In the autumn of 2018, Kjær went on two trials at the English club Southampton accompanied by his father, and the talent manager of Horsens, Claus Troelsen. KFUM-Kameratene Oslo
KFUM-Kameratene Oslo is the sports branch of the local YMCA in Oslo, Norway. It has departments for association football, futsal, volleyball, and track and field. The football team currently plays in Eliteserien from 2024, the top tier of the Norwegian football league system after promotion from Norwegian First Division in 2023. The club was founded on 1 January 1939, the clubs traditional base are in downtown Oslo. Today the team plays its matches at KFUM Arena, located at Ekebergsletta. Petter Nosakhare Dahl (born 23 October 2003) is a Norwegian footballer who plays as a winger for Rapid Wien. Early life Nosakhare Dahl was born on 23 October 2001 in Norway. He was born to a Nigerian mother and a Norwegian father. He is a native of Oslo, Norway. Career Nosakhare Dahl started his career with Norwegian side Frigg Oslo FK, having played youth football for Frigg and Lyn. He joined KFUM in 2022, and made his breakthrough in the 2022 1. divisjon. In March 2023, he was bought by FK Bodø/Glimt, who would immediately loan him back to KFUM until the summer of 2023. Fotballklubben Haugesund (), usually referred to as FK Haugesund or FKH, is a professional association football, football club from the city of Haugesund that plays in the top tier of the Norwegian football league system. Amahl William D'vaz Pellegrino (born 18 June 1990) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a left winger or forward for Major League Soccer club San Jose Earthquakes. Club career Early career Pellegrino started his career in Drammen FK, before moving to Bærum SK at the age of 22.
