2014 Tippeligaen
The 2014 Tippeligaen was the 70th completed season of top division association football, football in Norway. The competition began on 28 March 2014, two weeks later than in the 2013 Tippeligaen, previous season. A three-week summer-break in June was scheduled due to the 2014 FIFA World Cup, and the decisive match was played on 9 November 2014. Strømsgodset Toppfotball, Strømsgodset were the defending champions. FK Bodø/Glimt, Bodø/Glimt and Stabæk Fotball, Stabæk joined as the promoted clubs from the 2013 1. divisjon. They replaced Tromsø IL, Tromsø and Hønefoss BK, Hønefoss who were relegated to the 2014 1. divisjon. Molde FK, Molde won their third title, with four matches to spare following a 2–1 away win against Viking FK, Viking on 4 October 2014.
