List Of Large Sensor Camera Phones
This is a list of smartphones with a primary camera phone, camera that uses a 1.0-type (“1-inch”) image sensor or larger. However, as of February 2024, there are no smartphones that use a sensor larger than 1.0-type. The first camera phone to feature a 1.0-type sensor was the Panasonic Lumix CM1 in 2014. Seven years passed before another phone featured such a sensor. These early examples used sensors with a Aspect ratio (image)#3:2, 3:2 aspect ratio that were originally designed for standalone digital cameras. In 2022, Sony introduced the 1.0-type IMX989 sensor (co-developed by Xiaomi) with the Aspect ratio (image)#4:3, 4:3 aspect ratio that matched existing smartphones. Every phone in the list since 2022 features the IMX989 or its successor, the LYT-900. Also note that the Sony Xperia PRO-I does not qualify for this list, because it only uses 60% of its 1.0-type sensor. The latest Leica Camera, Leica Leitz and Sharp Corporation, Sharp Aquos R series phones do qualify becau ...

Crop Factor
In digital photography, the crop factor, format factor, or focal length multiplier of an image sensor format is the ratio of the dimensions of a camera's imaging area compared to a reference format; most often, this term is applied to digital cameras, relative to 35 mm film format as a reference. In the case of digital cameras, the imaging device would be a digital sensor. The most commonly used definition of crop factor is the ratio of a 35 mm frame's diagonal (43.3 mm) to the diagonal of the image sensor in question; that is, CF=diag35mm / diagsensor. Given the same 3:2 aspect ratio as 35mm's 36 mm × 24 mm area, this is equivalent to the ratio of heights or ratio of widths; the ratio of sensor areas is the square of the crop factor. The crop factor is sometimes used to compare the field of view and image quality of different cameras with the same lens. The crop factor is sometimes referred to as the focal length multiplier ("Film") since multiplying a ...

List Of Large Sensor Fixed-lens Cameras
This is a list of digital cameras with a fixed (non- interchangeable) lens and a 1.0-type (“1-inch”) image sensor or larger, excluding smartphones and camcorders. Many of these cameras are also known as high-end point-and-shoot cameras or premium compact cameras. Cameras with a prime lens The Leica Q series, Fujifilm X100 series, and Ricoh GR series are popular cameras in this category. Cameras with a zoom lens Almost all zoom models with larger sensors have been discontinued in favor of their interchangeable lens counterparts that offer more flexibility. Current compact models market themselves as vlogging cameras (e.g. Sony ZV-1 series and Canon G7 X series) or travel zoom cameras (e.g. Sony RX100 series and Panasonic ZS series), highlighting functionality that smartphone cameras still lack. The largest models are bridge cameras (e.g. Sony RX10 series and Panasonic FZ series) that includ ...

List Of Longest Smartphone Telephoto Lenses
This is a list of smartphones with a telephoto lens that offers a focal length (35mm equivalent) of at least 100mm or "4× optical zoom" with an imaging area equivalent to a 1/3.5″ or larger sensor. Smartphone lenses are often marketed in terms of "optical zoom" relative to the phone's main camera. For example, 120mm is usually referred to as "5× optical zoom", because the main camera's focal length is commonly around 24mm. However, only a few smartphones, such as the Sony Xperia 1 IV and V, include a true zoom lens that offers continuous optical zoom, whereas nearly all smartphones feature a collection of prime lenses interpolated by digital zoom. Note that this is not a list of the "best" smartphone telephoto lenses, since there are many factors that affect image quality. For example, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra's telephoto lens outperforms the S21 Ultra's, due to hardware and software improvements despite the S22 Ultra's smaller sensor size and shorter focal&nbs ...

Aspect Ratio (image)
The aspect ratio of an image is the ratio of its width to its height, and is expressed with two numbers separated by a colon, such as ''16:9'', sixteen-to-nine. For the ''x'':''y'' aspect ratio, the image is ''x'' units wide and ''y'' units high. Common aspect ratios are 1.85:1 and 2.39:1 in cinematography, 4:3 and 16:9 in television photography, and 3:2 in still photography. Some common examples The common film aspect ratios used in cinemas are 1.85:1 and 2.39:1.The 2.39:1 ratio is commonly labeled 2.40:1, e.g., in the American Society of Cinematographers' ''American Cinematographer Manual'' (Many widescreen films before the 1970 SMPTE revision used 2.35:1). Two common videographic aspect ratios are 4:3 (1.:1), the universal video format of the 20th century, and 16:9 (1.:1), universal for high-definition television and European digital television. Other cinema and video aspect ratios exist, but are used infrequently. In still camera photography, the most common aspec ...
