First Professional Football League (Bulgaria)
The First Professional Football League (), commonly known as Parva Liga or Bulgarian First League (currently known as the efbet League for sponsorship reasons), is a professional association football league in Bulgaria and the highest level of the Bulgarian football league system. Contested by 16 teams, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Second Professional Football League. The Bulgarian football championship was inaugurated in 1924 as the '' Bulgarian State Football Championship'' and has been played in a league format since 1948, when the A Group was established. The champions of the First League have the right to participate in the qualifying rounds of the UEFA Champions League based on the league's European coefficient. Additionally, two UEFA Europa Conference League spots are allocated to the second team in the final standings and the winner of the European playoffs. Diogo Campos Gomes (born 31 December 1990) is a Brazilian former professional footballer who plays as a attacking midfielder. Career On 31 January 2013, he signed at Thonon Evian as a loan deal. Toni Tasev (; born 25 March 1994) is a Bulgarian professional footballer who plays as a winger for Turkish club Erzurumspor. Career Pirin Born in Blagoevgrad, Tasev is a product of the Pirin 2001 academy. On 30 August 2013, he joined Pirin Blagoevgrad and made his senior debut two days later, coming on as a substitute against Velbazhd Kyustendil at Osogovo Stadium in a game of the third division. Al Dhafra FC () is an Emirati professional football club based in Madinat Zayed that competes in the UAE First Division League. Their futsal club participated in AFC Futsal Club Championship. History Al Dhafra FC was established in 2000, as part of a policy to promote sports across the country and the Al Dhafra region of Abu Dhabi had no team, so Al Dhafra is the first and only club to be located in the western region. FC Montana () is a Bulgarian professional football club based in Montana, which currently plays in the Second League, the second level of the Bulgarian football league system. Tsvetomir Panov (; born 17 April 1989) is a Bulgarian professional footballer currently playing for Cherno More Varna as a defender. Career Panov came to Litex Lovech from Spartak Pleven in January 2009. For three seasons with Spartak he earned 49 appearances playing in the Second League. He made his team debut for Litex on 3 February 2009, in a 5-1 friendly drubbing of Chinese vice-champion Shanghai Shenhua. Panov played for Slavia Sofia between 2013 and 2016.
