Lins, São Paulo
Lins is a municipality in the western part of the state of São Paulo in Brazil. The population is 78,503 (2020 est.) in an area of 570 km2. The elevation is 437 m. Distance is 455 km from the state capital, São Paulo. History The town was founded in the beginning of the 20th century, at first with the name of ''Santo Antônio do Campestre'', and grew after the arrival of the '' Estrada de Ferro Noroeste do Brasil'' (The Northwest railroad of Brazil). It became an independent municipality in 1920, when it was separated from the municipality Pirajuí. It was named after Manoel Joaquim de Albuquerque Lins, who was the president of the state of São Paulo from 1908 to 1912. The name was officially changed from ''Albuquerque Lins'' to ''Lins'' in 1926. The city is served by Gov. Lucas Nogueira Garcez Airport. Estrada De Ferro Noroeste Do Brasil
Rail transport in Brazil began in the 19th century and there were many different railway companies. The railways were nationalized under RFFSA (Rede Ferroviária Federal, Sociedade Anônima) in 1957. Between 1999 and 2007, RFFSA was broken up and services are now operated by a variety of private and public operators, including Rumo Logística, Companhia Paulista de Trens Metropolitanos and SuperVia. Três Lagoas
Três Lagoas ("Three Ponds") is a municipality in Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil. It is the third most populous city in that state. Founded in 1915, colonization began in 1880 by Luís Correia Neves Filho, Antônio Trajano dos Santos e Protásio Garcia Leal. It is named for three lakes in the region. The city itself has a population of 123,281 according to 2020 estimates. The city has a reasonable income distribution and does not have pockets of poverty. Culturally different, very close to southern cultures, such as Gaucho and Catarinense. Large festivals are held here as well as rodeos. The city is served by Plínio Alarcom Airport. Campo Grande
Campo Grande (, ) is a city in the Central-West Region, Brazil, central and western Regions of Brazil, region of Brazil, Capital city, capital of the state of Mato Grosso do Sul. Araçatuba
Araçatuba is a city located in the northwest of São Paulo state, Brazil. The city has 198,129 inhabitants (IBGE/2020) and spans . The city name comes from the Tupi language and means "abundance of araçá" (a fruit, Psidium cattleianum). Araçatuba is located from São Paulo. Its origins date back to the coffee boom and, at the turn of the century, its economy was characterized by the growth of sugarcane plantations.
