The Linn County Courthouse is a historic courthouse located at 108 High Street in Linneus, Linn County, Missouri. It was built in 1912-1913 and is a three-story, cubic form Beaux Arts style building constructed of concrete, stone and brick. The building measures 55 feet by 80 feet. Linneus is a small city in Linn County, Missouri, United States. The population was 281 at the 2020 census. It is the county seat of Linn County. History Linneus was designated county seat in 1839. Originally Linnville, its name was changed to honor Carl Linnaeus in 1840. A post office called Linneus has been in operation since 1840.
