Line 2 of Shaoxing Metro ( zh, s=绍兴轨道交通2号线) is a metro line in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province, China China, officially the People's Republic of China (PRC), is a country in East Asia. The line runs in the main urban area, with a total length of 10.55 kilometers and 9 stations. Line 2 was approved by the State Council in mid-2016 with the first round of the Shaoxing Metro construction plan. Construction started on 1 March 2020, and the line was officially opened for operation on 26 July 2023. The line uses 4-car trains initially and would have mixed operations of 4 and 6-car trains in the long term. Shaoxing Metro (), also known as Shaoxing Rail Transit, is the rapid transit, metro system in Shaoxing, Zhejiang province, China. It operates 2 subway lines. Line 1 (Shaoxing Metro), Line 1 (including branch line) and Line 2 (Shaoxing Metro), Line 2. Network Line 1 Line 1 began construction in 2016. The section from Guniangqiao to China Textile City opened on 28 June 2021, the remaining section from China Textile City to Fangquan opened on 29 April 2022. A branch line from Huangjiu Town to Daqingsi will opened in 2024. The extension of the branch line to Convention and Exhibition Center will open in 2025.
