Lindsay is a city in Tulare County, California, United States. The population was 12,659 at the 2020 census. Lindsay is located southeast of Visalia and north of Porterville and is considered part of the Visalia-Porterville Metropolitan Area and the Porterville Urban Area by the United States Census Bureau. History The Yandanchei tribe of Native Americans came to hunt and fish at the future site of Lindsay for centuries. Future Military Governor of California John C. The Southern Pacific (or Espee from the railroad initials) was an American Railroad classes#Class I, Class I Rail transport, railroad network that existed from 1865 to 1996 and operated largely in the Western United States. John Henry Keeley (born 27 July 1961) is an English former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He is a goalkeeping coach at Woking. Playing career Born in Plaistow, Essex, Keeley began his career at Southend United. He made 63 first team appearances between 1979 and 1986. He was signed by Brighton in 1986 and made 138 league appearances in four years with the club, helping the club to promotion to the Second Division in 1988. He joined Oldham Athletic in 1990, but made only two league appearances, being loaned out to Oxford United, Reading and Chester City in 1991 and 1992. Tule River
The Tule River, also called Rio de San Pedro or Rio San Pedro, is a river in Tulare County in the U.S. state of California. The river originates in the Sierra Nevada east of Porterville and consists of three forks, North, Middle and South. The North Fork and Middle Fork meet above Springville. The South Fork meets the others at Lake Success. Downstream of Success Dam, the river flows west through Porterville. The river used to empty into Tulare Lake, but its waters have been diverted for irrigation. The river reaches Tulare Lake during floods.
