Nørresundby
Nørresundby () is a city in Aalborg Municipality, north of Limfjorden, in Vendsyssel, in Denmark. The urban area has a population of 24,436 (1 January 2025). It is located just north of Aalborg, which lies south of Limfjorden. Statistically its own urban area since 2006, it is often still considered part of Aalborg; sometimes the name Greater Aalborg (''Stor-Aalborg'') is used to describe the concept. The city is connected to Aalborg by the Limfjordsbroen road bridge, and an iron railway bridge, as well as a motorway (E45) passing it to the east and running under the Limfjord. Vordingborg Municipality (, ) is a '' kommune'' in the Sjælland Region, which is on the southeast coast of the island of Zealand in south Denmark. It was established in 2007. The municipality covers an area of 621 km2. It has a total population of 45,057 (2025). Lindholm Strait (Russian: ''Proliv Lindgol'ma'') is a strait in the northwestern Sea of Okhotsk. It separates Malyy Shantar and Belichiy Islands to the north from the Tugur Peninsula to the south. Lindholm is a manor house and estate located in Lejre Municipality, between Roskilde and Tølløse, some 30 kilometres west of Copenhagen, Denmark. It has been owned by members of the von Plassen family since 1728 and is now part of the Londholm-Selsø estate.. Lindholm Amulet
The Lindholm "amulet", listed as DR 261 in Rundata, is a bone piece, carved into the shape of a rib, dated to the 2nd to 4th centuries (the late Roman Iron Age) and has a runic inscription. The Lindholm bone piece is dated between 375CE to 570CE and it is around 17 centimeters long at its longest points. It currently resides at the Lund University Historical Museum in Sweden. It was found in 1840 in Skåne, Sweden, while cutting peat from a bog. This cut the bone in half and resulted in the destruction of one rune in the second line of text though most of the artifact remained intact. Lindholm Station
Lindholm railway station is a railway station serving the district of Lindholm in the city of Nørresundby in Vendsyssel, Denmark. The station is located on the Vendsyssel railway line from Aalborg to Frederikshavn and is part of the Aalborg Commuter Rail service. North of Lindholm station the Aalborg Airport railway line branches west to Aalborg Airport. The station opened in 2002. The train services are operated by the railway companies DSB and Nordjyske Jernbaner. History Lindholm station opened in 2002 as a part of the new Aalborg Commuter Rail service.
