Limoges Football
Limoges Football () is an association football club based in Limoges, France. Founded in 1947 as Limoges Football Club, the team underwent several name changes, becoming Limoges Foot 87 from 1987 to 2003 before reverting to its original name, Limoges FC. The club competes in the seventh tier of the French football league system and hosts matches at the Stade Saint-Lazare, which has a capacity of 3,000. In January 2020, the original entity was placed into compulsory liquidation, resulting in the dissolution of the senior men's teams. The sporting rights were transferred to a new entity, Limoges Football, which resumed activities for youth and women's teams. The senior men's program restarted in the 2020–21 season at the lowest league level, Départemental 1, following a ruling by the French Football Federation (FFF). Stade Saint-Lazare
Stade (; ), officially the Hanseatic City of Stade (, ) is a city in Lower Saxony in northern Germany. First mentioned in records in 934, it is the seat of the district () which bears its name. Paul Sauvage (footballer)
Paul Sauvage (17 March 1939 – 17 December 2019) was a French footballer. During his club career he played for Limoges FC (1957–1960, 1970–1972), Stade de Reims (1960–1964), US Valenciennes Anzin (1964–1967), and Castets-en-Dorthes (1967–1970), and won the French championship with Reims in 1962. He earned 6 caps for the France national football team from 1961 to 1965, and was part of the squad that competed in the 1960 European Nations' Cup. Armand Penverne
Armand Pierre Adolphe Penverne (26 November 1926 – 27 February 2012) was a French professional footballer, who played as a midfielder, and coach. He played the majority of his professional career for Reims, winning four French championships and appearing in one European Cup final. He made 39 appearances for the France national team, scoring twice. After retiring as a player, Penverne served as coach of Marseille from July to December 1962 before becoming the technical director of the local club La Ciotat during the 1963–64 season. The 2014–15 Championnat de France amateur was the 17th season since its establishment. CS Sedan Ardennes, ASM Belfort, AS Béziers and Les Herbiers VF were promoted. Teams There were twelve teams promoted from Championnat de France amateur 2, while two teams were relegated from the 2013–14 Championnat de France amateur. No teams came from the 2013–14 Championnat National.
