Liliana Cá
Liliana da Silva Cá (born 5 November 1986) is a Portuguese athlete specialising in the discus throw. At club level she represents Sporting Lisbon. Career Cá won a silver medal at the 2018 Mediterranean Games. She had a five-year break in her career between 2013 and 2018 to raise children. Her personal best in the event is 66.40 metres set in Leiria in 2021, a national record. On 27 February 2021, Liliana threw 65.10 m in a preparation test in Vagos and got the entry standard for the Tokyo Olympic Games. She holds the Portuguese record for the discus throw in front of Teresa Machado Teresa Machado (22 July 1969 – 28 February 2020) was a Portuguese discus thrower and shot putter. 2024 Bislett Games
The 2024 Bislett Games was the 59th edition of the annual outdoor track and field meeting in Oslo, Norway. Held on 30 May at Bislett Stadium, it was the sixth leg of the 2024 Diamond League – the highest level international track and field circuit. Highlights The meeting was highlighted by a 5000 metres world record progression, 5000 metres world record attempt. It was won unexpectedly by Hagos Gebrhiwet of Ethiopia in a time of 12:36.73, less than two seconds behind the 2020 world record by Joshua Cheptegei who was also in the race. 2010 Ibero-American Championships In Athletics
The 2010 Ibero-American Championships in Athletics (Spanish: ''XIV Campeonato Iberoamericano de Atletismo'') was an athletics competition which was held at the Estadio Municipal BahÃa Sur in San Fernando, Cádiz, Spain from 4–6 June. A total of 44 events were contested, of which 22 by male and 22 by female athletes. A total of 459 athletes from 29 nations participated in the championships. Twelve championships records were set at the fourteenth edition of the competition. Cuba topped the medal table with 15 golds and 25 medals in total. The hosts, Spain, were runners-up with 11 golds and 31 medals overall, while Brazil took third place in the final tally.
