Liga Sanjuanina de futbol is a football (soccer), football league based in and around San Juan, Argentina, San Juan city in Argentina. The most successful teams have traditionally been San Martin, Juventud Alianza and Desamparados, although none of these clubs have won the title since 1995. As of August 2012 the league was headed by Alfredo Derito. Club Atlético de la Juventud Alianza (usually called Juventud Alianza) is a sports club based in the city of Santa Lucía, San Juan, Argentina. The football team currently plays in the Torneo Argentino B, which is one of the fourth tier competitions, along with the Primera C, of the Argentine league system. History Desamparados was founded in 1919 by a group of students from the Quinta Agronómica (Agricultural College), which is now the ''Escuela de Enología'' (Winemaking School).
