She represents the Oregon's 22nd House district, 22nd district, which is entirely within Marion County, Oregon, Marion County and consists of Hayesville, Oregon, Hayesville, Gervais, Oregon, Gervais, and Woodburn, Oregon, Woodburn as well as parts of Keizer, Oregon, Keizer and Salem, Oregon, Salem. She defeated incumbent Republican Party (United States), Republican Tracy Cramer by just 161 votes in the 2024 Oregon elections, 2024 election, with the race not being decided until November 26. As of 2021, the district is contained entirely within Marion County and contains Hayesville, Gervais, Woodburn, and northeastern Salem.
