Les Maîtres Du Temps
''Les Maîtres du temps'' ( ''The Masters of Time'', ''Time Masters''; ''Herrscher der Zeit'' in German; ''Az idő urai'' in Hungarian) is a 1982 independent animated science fiction film directed by René Laloux and designed by Mœbius. It is based on the 1958 science fiction novel '' L'Orphelin de Perdide'' (''The Orphan of Perdide'') by Stefan Wul. The film centres on a boy, Piel, who is stranded on Perdide, a desert planet where giant killer hornets live. He awaits rescue by the space pilot Jaffar, the exiled prince Matton, his sister Belle and Jaffar's old friend Silbad who are trying to reach Perdide and save Piel before it is too late. René Laloux
René Laloux (; 13 July 1929 – 15 March 2004) was a French animator, screenwriter and film director. Biography He was born in Paris in 1929 and went to art school to study painting. After some time working in advertising, he got a job in a psychiatric institution where he began experimenting in animation with the interns. It is at the psychiatric institution that he made the 1960 film ''Monkey's Teeth'' (''Les Dents du Singe''), in collaboration with Paul Grimault's studio, and using a script written by the Cour Cheverny's interns. Another important collaborator of his was Roland Topor with whom Laloux made ''Dead Time'' (''Les Temps Morts'', 1964), ''The Snails'' (''Les Escargots'', 1965) and his most famous work, the feature length ''Fantastic Planet'' (''La Planète Sauvage'', 1973). Árpád Lossonczy
Árpád (; 845 – 907) was the head of the confederation of the Magyar tribes at the turn of the 9th and 10th centuries. Raymond Michael Brooks (born 20 April 1939) is an English television and film actor. Career Early work Raymond Michael Brooks was born in Brighton, East Sussex, and began as a television actor. René Xavier Marie Alain Cuny (12 July 1908 – 16 May 1994) was a French actor of stage and screen.
