Lena Sundström
Lena Amalia Kyoung Ran Sundström (born 8 March 1972) is a Swedish journalist and author. She writes news chronicles and writes for Swedish daily newspaper '' Dagens Nyheter''. She has also had her own column at ''Aftonbladet'' newspaper, ''Metro'' newspaper's Swedish editions, '' Mersmak'' and '' Dagens Arbete''. Early life Sundström was born in Seoul, South Korea, to an unknown mother and was found outside an orphanage on 8 April 1972. She was estimated to be about one month old at the time, and her birthdate was arbitrarily set at 8 March 1972 (one month earlier). She was adopted by a Swedish family when she was 6 months old. She studied in Kristianstad, and also continued to study media and communications in Lund and Copenhagen and journalism at Poppius journalistskola. ''Expressen'' (''The Express'') is one of two nationwide evening newspapers in Sweden, the other being '' Aftonbladet''. ''Expressen'' was founded in 1944; its symbol is a wasp and its slogans are "it stings" or "''Expressen'' to your rescue". Overview The first edition of ''Expressen'' was published on 16 November 1944. A main feature that day was an interview with the crew members of a British bomber who were successful in sinking the German ship ''Tirpitz''. ''På spåret'' (''On the Track'') is a popular Swedish TV game show series broadcast on SVT since 5 September 1987. The show, which is intended to be humorous yet educational, has remained one of the most popular TV shows in Sweden, attracting an average of 2,150,000 viewers during the 2007 season. The all-time record was set in March 1990, when 3.7 million people tuned in to see the show. This means that nearly half of all Swedes saw the game show.
