Paul Leka (February 20, 1943 – October 12, 2011) was an American songwriter, record producer, pianist, arranger, and orchestrator, most notable for co-writing the 1960s hits "Green Tambourine" and "Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye", the latter of which has become a standard song at sporting events. Leka Church () is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Leka Municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the village of Leknes on the island of Leka. It is the church for the Leka parish which is part of the Namdal prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Nidaros. The white, wooden church was built in a long church style in 1867 by Knudt Grudt who used plans drawn up by the architect Jacob Wilhelm Nordan. The church seats about 200 people. History The earliest existing historical records of the church date back to the year 1589, but the church was not new that year. The first church was located at Skei on the southeast coast of the island and that church is traditionally said to have been built in the year 1020. Leka is the main island in Leka Municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. The island makes up about half of the area of the municipality of Leka. The island is surrounded by dozens of smaller islands. The smaller island of Madsøya lies south of Leka, and it is connected to Leka by a short bridge. The larger island of Austra, Norway, Austra lies about east of Leka. There is a ferry connection between Leka and Austra, and Austra is connected to the mainland by a bridge. Gazmend Leka is an Albanian painter and artistic director and scholar. Biography He finished his high school studies at the artistic "Jordan Misja" school in Tirana. He finished studies for painting and graphics at the ILA (today's Academy of Arts). He was responsible for designing the interior of the "Gjergj Kastrioti-Skanderbeu" museum in Kruja. From 1982, for ten years he worked in the film studio "New Albania" ("Shqipëria e Re") as a painter and artistic director. He worked on two films and won an international award "Dea Fortunata" in Naples. Since 1992 he has been Professor at the Academy of Arts, Tirana.
